Détente is a 10 year old rum from the Barbados-based distillers, made using spirits from pot and column stills. It was aged in bourbon and Port casks, which have imparted oodles of rich fruit and rounded vanilla notes to the rum. Brilliant stuff, this. Exceptional, you could say.
