Description

We went to Barbados for this addition to our Christmas 2026 range. Well, the rum did. We mostly stayed here and got excited about it. Distilled at Foursquare and matured in a bourbon barrel for 14 years, it’s a full-bodied affair with tropical fruit, caramel and warming spice, plus the sort of rich, sticky pudding notes that make you reconsider whether you’re really too full for dessert. A fine bottle for the rum enthusiast at your Christmas table. A release of 329 bottles.

Nose

Rich caramel and leathery oak lead the way, with candied pecans, boozy fruitcake, and generously charred crème brûlée. Hints of banana loaf, dried pineapple, molasses, and bitter orange peel develop over time.

Palate

Layered with dense dark toffee, slick caramel, and robust, toasty oak. Grilled tropical fruits, browned butter cookies, and tannic spice.

Finish

Sweet, dark notes of burnt sugar and molasses linger alongside drying oaken spice, with fragrant notes of tobacco and leather, and distant peppercorn warmth.
