Description
The Auld & the Bold series expands beyond whisky at times to spotlight world-class spirits producers pushing tradition forward, and few rum distilleries embody that better than Foursquare.
This single cask Barbados rum was was made using a blend of pot and column still spirit, this rum matured for 14 years before bottling at 60.2% ABV from cask #22. A total of 239 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coconut sweets, toffee sauce, singed oak, espresso crema, and dark brown sugar.
Palate
Rich and layered with muscovado, pastry notes, ripe pineapple, charred spice, and molasses.
Finish
Toasted coconut, nutmeg, caramelised oak, and lingering tropical fruit.
