Adding to The Colours of Rum series from indie bottlers, Wealth Solutions, comes this rum from Foursquare distillery in Barbados. Distilled in 2010, it matured in a single cask for 11 years before being bottled at cask strength. An outturn of only 264 bottles.

So having sampled way to many Foursquare rums, their exceptional cask series to.. I had some high hopes but I think the limited 5 years only aging in the tropics has impacted it's development. It doesn't have the depth and nuances of the ECS range, of which can be found cheaper, their 2010 knocks spots of this. If an ardent fan of Foursquare, I think you'll be.. It's ok but.. Type of experience.
