Well, this is something we haven't seen before, a Blueberry Rum! The awesome Flight Club range is the result of a collaboration between graphic designer @GrafikAircraft and the Defiance Distillery in north west England. To craft this rum, it's infused with dehydrated blueberries, vanilla, lime, orange peel, coconut and Demerara sugar for two months alongside Jack Daniel's wood chips! This is definitely a spirit to get creative with.
Somewhat woody, with light, creamy coconut and vanilla alongside subtle blueberry sweetness, with brown sugar and candied citrus.
Went to a rum bar that said it was Best to pair with lemonade so you can taste the blueberry Amazing rum Not too sweet not too harsh
This is a truly lovely blueberry rum. So nice and unusual and so pleased to have come across it. It has the most amazing aroma of blueberries and vanilla. Fresh and satiny feel in the mouth, floral and fruity but with a nice dry finish and just lovely neat or with lemonade and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Sounded very much to my taste. When paired with ginger beer and tried neat was disappointed. Harsh high alcohol taste with no notes of infused blueberries, vanilla, lime, orange peel, coconut.
