That Boutique-y Rum Company has gone and bottled up its first batch of wonderful spirit from Fernandes Distillers over in Trinidad and Tobago! The multi-column still molasses rum was aged for just shy of two decades, bottled up by the Boutique-y folks at 19 years old, weighing in at 57.4% ABV.
Now, what's going on with this label then? Looks like our modern day rum scientist has gone and got himself a time portal to peep into Mr Fernandes' past. We reckon this may have something to do with the fire of 1932 that destroyed the Trinidad & Tobago Government Rum Bond, when Mr Fernandes managed to acquire charred casks of rum saved from the fire, which went on to become some outrageously delicious vintages. Time travel is rad.
Batch 1 is a release of 522 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Quite herbaceous initially, with something like smoked rosemary in there, giving way to a scattering of vanilla pod and butterscotch, with sugary dried mango.
Palate Freshly baked banana bread and vanilla buttercream icing, with dried, almost slightly bitter dried herbs in support.
Finish A fairly clean finish of white pepper spice and lemon blossom, with bitter cocoa and lingering lemon curd creaminess.
