Yes, the bottle is great. The rum inside is so dark...and odd shade of brownish-black that does not mix well with ginger beer or other light in colour mixers because of the awful colour it makes. The aroma of Fallen Angel is strong and the flavour is huge, but I just can't get myself to like it. I love the scent of Rumbullion! and it backs up that scent with great taste and supreme mixability, something this rum sorely lacks in my opinion. With the cost being as high as it is, I think there are much better tasting rums available for a lot less.
A requested birthday present! For the lovers, they do refills! Disappointed to be honest. It’s a dark grape colour , sickly sweet, and almost liqueur like. On the rocks, pleasant, no complaints. As a mixer, simply not. Tried it with all the favorites, but too sweet. Also simply sinks to the bottom of the glass, so keep mixing! Sorry bottle lovers, it’s what’s inside that counts. For my pallet, and wallet, there’s better, and I’ve drank many.

I treated myself to this for my birthday. It's the most expensive rum I've ever bought. I've already had the Fallen Angel gin so I was expecting great things from the spiced rum. I was not disappointed. The bottle really is the selling point but the rum is equally mesmerising. Poured straight from the freezer, it's the blackest rum I've ever seen. It's slightly thicker than other rums I've had. It almost looks and tastes like a liqueur. It's so smooth and easy drinking. This is a rum you'd maybe only try once. I just wish they did refills as it's simply one of the nicest spiced rums I've had. And I've had about 30 different ones.
