From the Faith & Sons Microdistillery in Manchester comes a delightful pink rum. You read that right. It's not pink gin. It's pink rum. This tipple has been flavoured with strawberry and raspberry, and it's been bottled at 37.5%. Ought to be delightful in a number of cocktails.
Light sweetness of fresh red fruits, with a bite of clove and cinnamon and plenty of creamy vanilla.
I'm not a massive drinker but I do like a spiced rum so thought I'd give it a go as I'd been trying fruity gins. Now this doesn't taste like rum in the traditional sense but omg its divine. Added to lemonade and it's so lovely and fruity it's my favourite.
Trust a Mancunian to adulterate Gods nectar. My rating would be minus stars. It is a shame that people are not done for treason anymore.
My boyfriend and I tried this at a rum festival last year and loved it! So we ordered a bottle - it’s lovely! I’d say it’s very sweet so I can only have a few before moving on to something else Totally recommend! (My boyfriend is a dark rum drinker and I’m more of a pink gin drinker so give it a go even if you don’t normally drink rum)
