Column-distilled from sugarcane juice, the rum spent 11 years maturing in a bourbon cask before bottling, and with its supple, approachable profile, it'll make a perfect choice for rum drinkers of all experiences.
Batch 1 is a release of 394 bottles.
Toasted, candied nuts join honeyed sultanas, while zesty dried pineapple and citrus develop alongside gentle notes of earthy herbal tea.
Crisp green apple leads to fruity boiled sweeties while syrupy flapjack and a hint of sawdust linger beneath.
Fragrant, woody spices develop at the end, with clove and anise joined by drying oak.
