Brazil 2011 S.B.S.

Behold, the very first Brazilian rum to be bottled by 1423 for the Single Barrel Selection! It was distilled from both molasses and sugar cane juice at the Epris Distillery in 2011. It was left in a single cask until February 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength, with 264 bottles weighing in at 56.7% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Walnuts, good coffee and sponge cake, with some tangy apricot in the background.

Palate Chocolate peanuts, lemongrass and slowly-developing cinnamon and tobacco notes.

Finish Grassy notes continue on the long finish.
