Part of El Dorado's Single Still releases comes this 2006 vintage rum from the Diamond Estate in Guyana. This was produced in the Port Mourant wooden double pot still, the only one of its kind still operational! Eventually, the rare rum was bottled at 40% ABV, presented in this satisfyingly dumpy bottle.
Tropical fruit kicks things off, supported by baking spice, namely cinnamon, and cooked apple leading into a touch of milk chocolate.
