A rather special premium offering from Guyana's El Dorado, the Grand Special Reserve was originally launched to mark the turn of the millennium and continues to be released in limited runs today. This is a 1998 vintage expression, matured for 25 years and housed in a rather smart decanter bottle.
This rum is rich, smooth and mellow with silky smooth mouthfeel and subtle notes of caramel and heavy fruit cake.
