Dorchadas Washed Ashore Edition 3 - 15 Year Old Bourbon Cask
Washed Ashore Edition 3 is a 15-year-old blend of pot and column still molasses rums from Barbados. It spent its first five years maturing in bourbon barrels in the Caribbean before travelling to Scotland for a further decade of maturation in red wine and English whisky casks. The colder Scottish climate slowed things down considerably, building layers of fruit, vanilla, spice, and mature oak. Bottled at 56.4% ABV, only 231 bottles were released.

Nose
Molasses, wooded vanilla, dark fruit, caramel, and warming oak spice.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied, with treacle, dried fruit, vanilla, red berries, and seasoned oak.
Finish
Baking spice, dark fruit, and lingering wood.
