“Initial opinion, upon opening, wasn't the greatest. Kind of burbony scent with strong ethanol. The taste was still good and improved after couple of pours. Few days later, it all magically started developing: the chocolatey scent, smooth taste with good ABV and long satisfying finish. Even better now, 3 weeks since first opened. Looking forward to trying other Doorly's expressions. ”

Full bodied rum but nothing special

This is a rich full bodied rum with a slight 'burn' in the mouth at the end. I don't have the best palate but could not discern individual flavours. Perhaps I might have enjoyed it more if I'd added a little water. Not really to my taste.

Beautiful bottle of rum

Amazing. I am now a convert from gin.
