An intriguing expression from the Don Papa Rum range produced in the Philippines. The Sevillana Cask Finish was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, before moved over to two different types of casks for a finishing period - namely Oloroso sherry casks and Andalusian Vino de Naranja casks. If you're unfamiliar with it, Vino de Naranja is a type of Spanish orange wine made by macerating orange peels in white wine. The result of this maturation is an bold, fruit-forward rum with oodles of citrus, dried fruit and oak spice.
