An absolute taste of ambrosia? I found this in a Cuban Tapas bar in Sheffield and as an after dinner drink was superb just washed over ice a complete delight with no after burn just a lingering deep taste of so many spices among the molasses. Definitely I’ll be buying a bottle.
if you like the taste of cloves then this rum is for you. If you don’t you may struggle but the underlying taste is awesome and almost makes up for the gloves taste. It’s a hard one to review as the quality just shines through.
I was given this as a birthday present a few weeks ago and tonight I thought I would open it and have a small glass. I am currently drinking it straight and it is certainly different from other rums I have tried. I think if I am going to drink any more of this I need a mixer, any suggestions (not a big fan of coke as a mixer}.
Lovely rich flavour. Always chose this over other rums if a bar sells it.
