Damoiseau Rhum Vieux Millesime 2009
An aged agricole rum from Damoiseau, the Millesime 2009 was produced in Guadeloupe and bottled after seven years of rest in American oak barrels. This is the 'raw' version of the 2009 vintage agricole, bottled at a warming 66.9% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich vanilla and oak, with funky tinned peaches and cooked banana developing.
Palate
Apricot pastries, fresh sugarcane, even more vanilla and a touch of white pepper.
Finish
Still peppery on the finish, though tempered by caramel and dried fruit.
