Damoiseau Rhum Blanc 50°
From Guadeloupe comes Damoiseau Rhum Blanc 50°, an agricole rum bottled at 50% ABV. Made from pure sugar cane juice, the liquid is then aged for six months in wooden casks before bottling. A really great rum for making cocktails and punches.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Tangy tropical fruit juice (think pineapple and mango), with a hint of floral sugarcane alongside the zesty sweetness.
Palate
Passion fruit, lemon, more pineapple, a touch of flinty minerals in the background.
Finish
Lasting sweetness of citrus, plus a kick of peppery heat.
