Intensely flavoursome eight year old rum from Compagnie Des Indes, made with a blend of spirits from Panama, Guyana, the Dominican Republic, and Barbados. Impressive stuff, with lots of spicy notes mellowed by creamy vanilla and cooked fruit.
Fresh peach, plum, and mango, followed by mature oak, cigar box, vanilla, cinnamon, cumin, and paprika.
A good nose to start but the flavour fades quickly, just a bit too low on abv. Good for the price though.
