A good solid mixing Rum. I would not recommend using to much Coke. The Rum flavour seems to get lost. Kev Doncaster
This Rum is excellent as a long drink, with either coke or Ginger beer
An earlier (Early 2010's) bottling of this was much more delicate, buttery and slightly spicy. Trying that bottle side by side along the newer (2020) rum, the difference is clear. It's a darker colour, less delicate and with a much harsher finish. Not terrible by any standard, but no longer the budget Bajan option it once was.
A long-time fave, hard to find in California.
Cockspur rum is smooth and is very tasty. Since trying Cockspur Rum about 10yrs ago I will only drink another brand of rum when Cockspur is not available. It is the best I've tasted.
