Distilled at the Chamarel Distillery from estate-grown red and yellow sugarcane, this single-cask release spent two years ageing tropically in Mauritius before a further seven years in the UK. Bottled in 2023 at cask strength (54.2% ABV), only 273 bottles exist. The dual maturation gives it both structure and vibrancy.
Stewed prunes, ripe cherries, and vanilla pod over notes of hay, spice, and wild herbs.
Caramelised apple, blossom honey, and dried fruit with hints of chocolate and oak.
Lingering and complex, with dark cocoa, wood spice, and fruity warmth.
