Enjoyable and Good Value
Very good Costa Rican Rum which is full of flavour and well balanced. Outclasses the well-known brands in its price range in my opinion. Great with cola too.

Surprisingly rough
The flavour isn't bad, especially considering the price, but it's rough. Definitely a sipping rum rather than a mixer, but probably one to sip after a few neat glasses of something a bit easier drinking

Fantastic 9yo
Ron Centenario makes some truly beautiful rum.
Their XX Anos is one of the best I have ever enjoyed, just came across this bottling, and gave it a try since the XX Anos is not available.

I am not disappointed, Ron Centenario lives up to its reputation for premier rum.

It is a very smooth & easy sipping rum, best enjoyed neat, or with a single ice cube, very tiny splash of water, or a citrus twist.
You wouldn't ruin this rum with mixers, it's a quality rum meant to be enjoyed in its entirety.

It has a nice mellow caramel undertone, vanilla, mallow, and a hint of spice on the finish.
For the price, this easily beats the competition, and is a definite rum to add to the collection.
