Cargo Cult Bottling Note

Named for Melanesian beliefs held on remote islands that John Frum, probably a corruption of "John from..." (American serviceman having visited during the second World War bringing with them goods such as cigarettes, tinned food and some basic medicines), will one day return to bring prosperity once again. This Oceanian spiced rum is made with rums from Papua New Guinea and Fiji that are blended and spiced in Australia.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Winter spices and fruit cake, citrus, ginger and a little cocoa.

Reviews for Cargo Cult Spiced Rum
Not sure whether to drink it or wash the floor with it.
I once left a t-shirt on top of a chest of drawers that happened to be touching a reed diffuser and forgot about it. When I finally returned and picked up the t-shirt, it up it was so infused with the perfumes that it was unwearable, even too pungent after being left in a drawer for 6 months. This rum IS that t-shirt in liquid form. So indelibly perfumed to render it useless, it tastes like someone has rinsed the inside of a Chanel bottle with cheap rum and served it up. I periodically try to go back to it and re-evaluate my opinion but get beaten back by the cheap scent of a working class bingo hall. Avoid at all costs unless you work in the perfume department in Boots.

Unique and well balanced premium spiced rum
Got 2 bottles of this for Christmas as it appeared in M&S over the festive period. Really impressed with the flavour and the mix of spices, I've already done best part of one bottle and i'm sold. Will always keep one on the shelf as this one has quite a unique flavour.
