Burning Barn Spiced Apple Rum
Burning Barn is based on a former apple orchard so an apple-based expression seemed like a logical creation. The Spiced Apple Rum is closely based on its limited edition Apple Rum from 2022 and is described as "apple pie in a glass". It's a blend of pot and column still rum blend which is diluted with real apple juice to bottling strength before nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon are added. The liquid is finished in former cherry liqueur vats from Germany made from Ash wood. The signature serve is The Orchard Spritz, the recipe for which is below.
The Orchard Spritz
50ml Burning Barn Spiced Apple Rum
150ml Apple & Elderflower Sparkler
A few dashes of Angostura bitters
Serve in a highball glass, with plenty of ice and a fresh apple slice to garnish.

Juicy apple, warming baking spice, and a little cherry are supported by notes of caramel, vanilla, and treacle.
