A spiced rum drink based on 16th and 17th century 'bumbo' recipes, Caribbean spices are added with no artificial flavourings or colours at all.
This is fantastic! The best rum I've ever tasted. Downed half a bottle without even realising it. Definitely get notes of toffee and banana but it's the smooth vanilla afterwards that I love. Neat or with cola this is very, very tasty. Will be empty, and replacing, soon!
Bought on a whim but it very quickly became a firm favourite. Delicious!
Hate bananas with a passion but the banana taste left in the palate is very nice, i am not a rum expert, just like drinking it, but you can taste each flavour in Bumbu individually. Always drank morgans spiced, then moved on to Kraken and Red Leg in the last year or 2, with Kraken being my fav, but Bumbu has well and truly became the new nbr 1, Kraken cant even touch it.
Quality Rum, probably my second favourite I have tried on my rum rampage this year. It’s between this and rumbullion for 2nd place, with Old J being top dog at number 1 spot!
Superb and what a price definitely cheaper than most supermarkets for it and the taste is top shelf
