Named after the private boat of the most senior surviving officer of the Titanic, Cuckoo Sundowner Rum sees a base of white Lancashire rum blended with South American white rum. The blend is then aged for around six months in bourbon barrels, before being infused with vanilla, cinnamon, clove, ginger and honey from the distillery's very own farm! Fabulous as a sipping rum, and accompanied by a sunset like the one on the label would be rather fabulous too.
Prominent notes of brown sugar, caramelised banana and oak spice lead into waves of silky, floral honey, and a good hit of spicy ginger and cinnamon.
a good surprising rum , more like a smooth whisky for sipping and like the cuckoo heralds spring ,a warm feeling of warmth to come , made in Lancashire . but drunk in Yorkshire .
