One of a number of exceptional rums from the Oxenham Craft Distillery on the island of Mauritius, this flavoured edition was distilled using Bougainville's award winning white rum as a base, which was infused with natural vanilla.
Bright and sweet, with hints of banana, ginger and vanilla.
My partner first tried vanilla rum on holiday in Mauritius 2018 and I purchased this brand for a birthday present and she said that it is absolutely wonderful.
Im a fan of spiced rums and thought i would try this. I usually cannot drink rum neat but had a sip of this before adding coca cola and wow! So smooth and with subtle flavours i could happily drink it on the rocks! The description is spot on too with hints of banana and ginger. It is equally delicious with the coke and so easy to drink!. Bought this actually for a cocktail i had recently that had vanilla rum in,thought id try it at home but not sure i want to add anything else to it as it is so nice as it is! If you like spiced rums you will love this! Not one for writing reviews but felt i had to for this! Recommend!!!
