Bougainville uses 100% Mauritian molasses to make this characterful rum. After fermentation of 10 to 14 days, it's distilled in single batches and aged for at least three years in a host of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in a decadent, well-rounded profile, layered with delicate oak, caramel, and elegant tobacco.
Silky caramel, burnt sugar, sherried fruits, and gently warming spice, with mellow oak and subtle notes of fragrant tobacco beneath.
Very well made rum and flavours are bang on with the description from MoM, definitely to drink neat and savour the flavours, I'm a big fan of the Bougainville white rum which is absolutely stunning, delivery was amazing next day delivery so highly recommend MoM
