Bougainville uses 100% Mauritian molasses to make this characterful rum. After fermentation of 10 to 14 days, it's distilled in single batches and aged for at least three years in a host of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in a decadent, well-rounded profile, layered with delicate oak, caramel, and elegant tobacco.
Silky caramel, burnt sugar, sherried fruits, and gently warming spice, with mellow oak and subtle notes of fragrant tobacco beneath.
