Botran selected some of its finest aged Guatemalan rum for this expression and finished it in French wine barrels. Following long ageing in a solera-style system, the wine casks offer fruity lift and gentle tannic depth to the robust, oaken rum. Enjoy this one in a Rum Old Fashioned, pair it with a square of decent dark chocolate, or enjoy alongside some good mature cheese.
