The rum aged in a solera style system made up of American whiskey casks, medium toasted American whiskey casks, Spanish and Portuguese fortified wine casks, and, most intriguingly, casks that previously held agave spirit, bringing subtly herbaceous, nutty notes to the zesty fruit at its core.
