Reviews for Don Papa Small Batch Rum
Absolute sham
This stuff is a sham. Marketed as "Made in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon". There is absolutely no distillery anywhere near the foothills of Mt. Kanlaon. Age statement is an absolute joke as well, considering the distillery hasn't existed long enough to be releasing rum of the ages that they state. The entire rum industry desperately needs a shakeup and these people are a shining example of why. Vote with your pocket - avoid this sweetened liqueur.

Is it rum?
Don Papa, founded in 2011, produced first rum in 2012... So... How can it be 7 years old?
No mentioning of distillery...
No address can be found for distillery...
I am residing for 3 years in Philippines and have been looking into this product for a while. I have been trying to figure out where they actually make it but it stays a mistery.
While it is very drinkable it is full of additives. They are marketing this product very well but it is not an artisanal produced authentic rum. It's a commercial product meant for profits. Here in Philippines it's normal to lie to consumers. There is no control on most things and people's access to information is limited.
Should be labeled a spiced rum maybe, or spiced liquor would be even more correct.
Drinks very smooth, great for certain coctails. Alot of cinamon and caramel tints. Alot of sugar.
I can appreciate this drink although I cannot appreciate their marketing.

DO NOT BUY!
This not rum, this is liquid sugar with additive.
A rum to avoid! you can get a better rum for less money and a authentic taste

Very Nice
Best value and quality for an under appreciated rum.
