“Was at XO vintage cellars yesterday and got this beauty home. Was chasing some Tasmania Whiskey but just not in stock at their store...saw this awesome looking gold rum so I asked to inspect this bottle. And the Whiskey expert (connoisseur) was there and asked me my 3 favorite alcoholic drinks are. I answered and said "I never drink "pre/postmixes" nor adulterate any of my nice spirits with a cube of ice ... Just have them all neat. But I was to So upon closed eye tasting tests, I could pick this all too easily with 5 other rums. It's almost like a hybrid of High content Spiced Mead, Honeyed Rum and Citrus (closer to a mandarin I'd say.) And WOW does this impress! Absolute mother's milk going down. Highly recommended 9.6/10”

This Gold Spiced Rum from Beach House is made with light rum from Mauritius, which is infused with tropical fruits and a whole host of warming spices, with sweeter fruity notes balancing well among the heat of the spices. Mix it with pineapple juice to bring out the sweeter notes, or with ginger ale for a spicier serve.

Lots of mango and banana, with tangy passion fruit, leading into bitter orange peel and warming cinnamon and allspice.
