This expression from Batch Spirits was created by the team's junior distiller Ryan, inspired by the biscuits of local biscuit luminaries, Farmhouse Biscuits. Based on the flavours of Farmhouse Biscuits' lemon biscuits, this expression features a white rum aged in a barrel with fresh lemon, oats, malt, vanilla pods, and powdered sugar.
Brown sugar, a tangy hint of fresh lemon, enjoyably creamy and warming.
Drank neat it’s a no from me. That’s because I found it harsh, bland and quite dry. However when mixed with Coca-Cola my opinion is quite different. As a long drink with Coke, it’s much calmer, sweeter, zingier, and altogether much more pleasant. And an educated guess tells me that this will combine really well in many cocktail recipes.
