Appleton Estate 18 Year Old 2003 - Hearts Collection
A fantastic 18 year old rum from Appleton Estate in Jamaica. This 100% pot still rum was distilled in 2003 and enjoyed a tropical maturation in cask numbers 420930 through to 420950. It was bottled in 2021 as part of the Hearts Collection, in collaboration with bottlers, Velier. A limited outturn of 5,000 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Sticky ginger cake, cocoa nibs, and a touch of liquorice give way to mince pies, earthy vanilla, toasted oak, and a twist of lime peel.
