An impressive expression from the Anglesey Rum Co. up in North Wales! South Stack Golden Rum (Rym Aur in Welsh), is twice pot distilled from molasses that is fermented on-site, before being filled into a shaved, toasted, and re-charred ex-bourbon barrel for a gentle seven-month slumber. A total of just 66 bottles were released for this batch, adorned with a stunning scene of South Stack lighthouse, with a glorious sunset over the horizon.
Delicate wafts of vanilla and butterscotch welcome the way for hints of apricot and charred peach, with a peppering of toasted oak spice towards the finish.
