7 year old rum from the Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos Distillery in the Dominican Republic! This was independently bottled by the good folk at Berry Bros. & Rudd, who are perhaps better known for their whisky bottlings, but this goes to show, they certainly know a good rum when they see one too!
Tropical banana and hints of pineapple meet dark caramel and creamy vanilla.
More exotic fruit, banana fritters, melon, and charred pineapple with burnt brown sugar, rich sweet vanilla and oak spice.
Fragrant wafts of cinnamon and allspice combine with the sweet fruit and sugar for a lingering finish.
Potent juice, full of flavour. Not a mixer and definitely needs a few drops of water to release the flavour otherwise its pure fumes.
