A thoroughly delicious 10 year old Tawny Port from Sandeman, a producer that dates back to the 18th century. While it's rich and sweet, there's a fresh acidity that keeps everything in check. This would be particularly good with a hard and blue cheeses as well as fruit-based desserts. Or just sip it chilled on its own and lose yourself in contemplation.
Cooked strawberries, vanilla, orange peel, and walnuts withe a pronounced citric tang to it.
