From the Quinta do Noval vineyard comes this 2012 vintage Port. The grapes are harvested from old vines, and are then trodden by foot before fermentation. After 18 months maturing in wooden casks, the outstanding Port is bottled up full of juicy berry notes. A brilliant after-dinner sipper alongside something rich and chocolatey.
An undertone of tobacco alongside forest fruit coulis, with a slight herbal menthol hint and a dry, tannic finish.
