LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) Ports spends around six years in wooden vats before bottling. It offers much of the character of a proper vintage Port - think big spicy fruit flavours and ripe tannins - but at a much more reasonable price. Extra time in bottle has developed the sweet spicy notes. Drink this with chocolate pudding or a nice piece of mature cheddar.
