Dow's 2011 Late Bottled Vintage Port
Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port from esteemed producer Dow's. LBV Ports offer a level up in terms of quality from basic ruby ports, but don't require such prolonged aging (or such a big bank balance!) as true vintage ports. This is from the simply outstanding 2011 vintage, which is already being touted as one of the greats.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Full-bodied and rich Port, smooth with classic notes of stewed, peppery plums. Dow's LBV is not overly sweet as some Ports can be, which allow the more savoury elements of the Port to shine.
