This is a single quinta Port which means it comes from a single property from a single year but not a year that's quite good enough to go into a 'proper' vintage Port. Such wines tend to be great value and mature more quickly than a vintage Port so this wine is absolutely perfect to drink now. It will need decanting so stand up for 24 hours before serving.
Coal dust / coffee powder note on the nose, ripe dark fruit, Mellowing beautifully, soft , sweet fruit, bit of tannin on the end, plum jam. Good now though no hurry to drink.
