John O'Connell's
West Cork Distillers
Named for the O’Connell family who've been distilling illicit poitín for seven generations, this small batch legal bottling is made with local barley, sugar beet and spring water.
Sweet, refreshing and warming with light cereal, sweet earth and a little white fruit.

I remember when i was younger and people would say poitín would make you blind, it's moved on a long way from your mates dads shed though. It has a really sweet aroma almost like marzipan, the taste you can taste the barley then really sweet afternotes. Lovely drink your mum will love it. Sláinte
This stuff is large and in charge. Don't be put off by the high alcohol content, when sipped it is smooth and the flavor really comes through.
