A mighty fine Peruvian Pisco made exclusively from the Quebranta grape, one of eight varieties permitted used to make this characterful spirit. It’s made by Vina Tacama, one of the oldest producers in South America, let alone Peru. Its vineyards date back to 1540 – which it says was the first in South America, so you can be sure you are tasting a slice of liquid history with this bottle.
Rich and intense with notes of ripe banana, toffee, walnuts and pecans, leading to a smoky tobacco note on the palate and deliciously nutty finish.
