The Travelling Gin Company
This tip-top tonic water is a collaborative effort between the Travelling Gin Company and the Ebeltoft Farm Brewery, made with natural quinine from the South American cinchona tree. It also features lemongrass, Jamaica pepper, lemon, lime and orange juice, carbonated water and a touch of organic cane sugar.
This is a case of 20 x 25cl bottles of tonic water.

Lovely bitterness & just the right level of sweetness too. Perhaps more suited for Autumn/Winter time drinking. G&Ts at home with Beefeater & Sipsmith...both delicious! 50ml of gin with half a bottle of the tonic seemed to do the trick. V different from any other tonic - with it's orangey colour it all made for a refreshing surprise!
This tonic has a very strong flavour. It's not exactly unpleasant, but if you're making a G&T, or even a cocktail, the tonic will be all you can taste, drowning out the flavour of the gin itself. I suppose if you like a great splash of bitters in a pink gin instead of a few drops this might be for you. Otherwise, for the G&T drinker who likes to taste the gin, avoid.
After getting sick of so many mainstream tonics I was lucky enough to try this. What a refreshing difference. You can taste real flavours in it rather than just the standard bitter and sweet that you get from most mainstream tonics. Perfect for cocktails or just straight up with gin.
