Satryna
A beautiful example of artesanal mezcal here from Satryna, produced with the not often seen Cenizo agave. Also known as Agave Durangensis, the species is native to the state of Durango, Mexico, and is characterised by its grayish-blue leaves. The name 'cenizo' actually means 'ashen' or 'ash-colored' in Spanish. For this mezcal, the agave was harvested after 15 years.
Roasted agave, ripe citrus, and earthy spice melt into smoke and herbaceous undertones.
