Excellent Mezcal from the Pensador range, with a focus of the Espadín agave! Traditional production methods are used to produce the spirit, making for a flavoured expression that'll be perfect for enjoying neat or in a cocktail. Incredibly impressive indeed.
Anise, orange peel and peach fruitiness, baked earth and peppery smoke.
I normally get the Pensador Ensamble but as it was out of stock I thought I'd give this a go and glad I did! Same quality and profile to the Ensamble and £7 cheaper! No brainer!

I'm a big fan of the first Pensador bottle but took a punt on the new one and I'm glad I did! Similar style to the other one but with this buttery note, like a corn cooked on a bbq. Think it might be my new favourite!
