Reviews for Monte Alban Mezcal
No worm !
My son was disappointed to see that there was no worm in the bottom of the bottle.

Good value
Smokey and good flavour, not super smooth, but still a good mezcal.

Nice for the price, decent intro to mezcal
Nice as an intro to Mezcal, the worm is always a talking point, but definitely low on the tree of quality mezcals. I figure it's the mezcal equivalent of Jose Cuervo tequila.

On the bright side, I enjoyed it enough that I'll definitely be trying more mezcal, probably looking at the "Illegal reposado" mezcal next as a step up.

A mistake drink
I ordered this. I made a terrible almost undrinkable mistake. No smoke. Just a rather rubbish tequila. Don't buy.

Dreadful. Avoid
Quite possibly the worst agave related by product on the market, lacks any form of autheniticity. very rough and not very palatable. Please inform yourselves on other tequila's and mezcals before sampling monte Alban

More tequila than mezcal
Tastes more like an above average tequila than any mezcal I've had before. Good to drink, but not the Smokey flavor I was looking for

Fantastic Party Tipple
Ive given this Mezal 5 stars for overall experience. This doesn't compare to Patron tequila of course but its not about that. Its a good tasting tipple with just the right amount of kick. BUT its main selling point is the 28 worms.

1 Shot 1 Worm,
for everybody,
not 1 worm at the bottom of the bottle for one lucky chap/chapess, so everyone can experience the Mexican way. JJB
