A superb mezcal from Emigdio Jarquín Ramirez for Mezcal Vago, produced from a selection of Cuishe, Madrecuishe, and Tepeztate agave. The agave is ground by a stone Tahona wheel, after being roasted in an earthen pit, keeping to the time-old traditions of Artesanal mezcal production and resulting in a characterfully rich, vegetal sipper.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Smoky pepper, charred herbs, a hint of fennel, and green olive, with crisp minerality.
