A lovely mezcal from the artisinal brand Reina, which specializes in crafting spirits using different varieties of agave, or maguey. In this case, this mezcal was made from Wild Arroqueño, which was processed the same way each expression from the brand is: cooked in an earthen pit, crushed by hand with a wooden mallet, and double distilled in clay pots. This allows the nuances to come from the agave species, which you'll really appreciate when sipping this neat alongside other mezcals from the range. For this one, a special edition label was created in collaboration with renowned Mexican artist Sabino Guisu.
Pine based with notes of cinnamon, honey, mint, chili and melon.
