Chortle chortle, merriment and mirth. Oh, but seriously though, this is a very tasty mezcal, made in Tlacolula in Mexico's Oaxaca region. It was twice distilled in copper stills and the result garnered a "Best of the Best" Best Aged Mezcal from the 2012 Tequila.net Awards.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of honey and soft smoke. Agave plants, dried herbs, earthiness and cherries.
Palate
Fresh flowers, orange rind and peppermint oil. Slightly salty and very herbal. Smoke develops.
Finish
Earthy, cocoa-like finish.
